The Friends of Jason Gould Foundation will hold its second annual fundraiser for leukemia and lymphoma research. Jason’s Hogfan Party will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the St. Charles Moose, Rt 38, St. Charles Illinois from 4 until 10 p.m. Friends of Jason Gould Inc is a registered Not For Profit corporation and approved as a 501c3 tax exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Our identification number is 26-4063989. All donations are tax deductible.
Our mission is to raise money to support leukemia and lymphoma research. Jason Gould won his battle with leukemia but passed away from a viral related lymphoma after a successful bone marrow/stem cell transplant. His family and friends have joined together to raise funds to support research on Jason’s behalf. Our goal is to help bring cures so that others might survive these dreadful diseases.
Friends of Jason Gould Inc has chosen to raise funds to support the innovative work of a team of cancer researchers at the Ohio State University. One of these research scientists, Dr. Rob Baiocchi attended our first fundraiser in September of 2009. He spoke about the importance of groups such as ours in raising money to support their efforts since funding in general has been cut dramatically in the last couple of years. He will attend again in 2010 to speak to and thank everyone for their support. Jason’s Hogfan Party is an old fashioned pig roast with all the trimmings, a great homemade dessert table, music, a silent auction and great raffles!
We are asking if you would help us in our efforts by giving a donation in any amount or by donating a raffle or silent auction item. You can also be a sponsor of our event.
New this year we will have sponsor tables that sell for a donation of $250.00 each. Your
donation will include 2 free tickets to the event, a centerpiece with your name and any
information you would provide and a listing in our event booklet.
